A New Idea in Classic Car Service

Sitting around the shop one day, a friendly gentleman strolled into the showroom looking for some work on a Corvette he owned.  While the guys in the shop were inspecting his car we sat down and started small talking. He was asking me the normal questions I get when talking to a new client. How long have you been in business, what's your labor rate, etc.  As the conversation went on, he started to comment on how he has two Hot Rods and really enjoys driving them but they take too much room in his garage and can't stand to work on them.

Once he said that, I started explaining to him a new concept of a full service facility that stores your Classic Car and provide general to high end services to Classic Cars. The more I talked about it the wider his eyes got.  A place where he could keep his car and have any service or repair from bumper to bumper while having 24 hour security.

This is a new service that I call the VIP Storage Program.  Check out the details Here.

Hurt Ego of the Month

Imagine that you just got done building your dream ride. In this case, a nasty tubbed vintage Camaro. All your buddies are watching, your wife has the video camera handy and your best friend is riding shotgun on it's maiden voyage.  To set the mood right, you decide to start the show with a big smoky John Force burnout and guess what happens.

Now that's a case of "maybe I should have gotten out of it before I was completely sideways.  I hope the station wagon he took out was insured.

I have been a real slacker lately on writing these blogs and have commited my self (with a push from my lovely wife) to do a better job of keeping up with it. It's actually very enjoyable and I like to throw in some good information along with a little bit of comic relief.  Til next time, keep supporting our wonderful hobby and pray for a short winter.  Nick
